Removing empty rows in Google Sheets

1. Introduction

Have you ever needed to remove empty rows from your Google Sheet without resorting to coding up AppScript?

I have created a Google Addon - Remove Empty Rows that will do just that.

In this article, I will go over on how to use it.

2. Installing the Addon

Firstly this Addon will only work with Google Sheets product. You will need to install it first before using - just go through the usual steps of installing Google Addons.

3. How to remove empty rows from your sheet

After we have done the installation, just open up a Google Sheet that you want to process.

You should see the addon in the menu as "Remove Empty Rows".

There are two options available:

• Remove from selection - this will remove the empty rows within your current selection
• Remove all from sheet - this will remove the empty rows in your sheet. You do not have to select any data!
